Philadelphia

Philadelphia market East

Summer is one of my favorite seasons, a relaxing season. This summer I went for 1 month to visit my family that lives in New York City and Philadelphia.

I had visited Philadelphia many times but all the times I have been there I usually spend my whole time shopping. Therefore I made this summer a little bit different than the others, something more tourist.
I took this picture at Philadelphia center city east. I remember that it was an extremely hot day, well, almost the whole trip was very hot.

July 9th at 7:08 pm. A Tuesday late night that it didn´t even seem almost night.
The features make Philadelphia a peaceful place is the relax, calm and beautiful environment  people can take advantage of; and this picture speaks for itself.

That day I woke up with the biggest weakness of the world, I planned to stay at house watching movies all day but my sister wanted to go out and even that I was stick to my plans she convinced me to go ahead.
We took a bus that cost 1 dollar to the city center of Philadelphia but we didn´t knew we had to change trains so at first we were lost, then we asked for some help and thanks God that driver help us.

At second time, when we arrived to the City we saw a lot of malls to do shopping and even that our objective was not shopping WHO CAN DENY THAT??? Moreover I remember that we found a store named "Five below", and indeed, everything cost less than 5 dollars. It was the best idea to shop in that moment but after that we regret us because we spend a LOT of money in useless things. Capitalism winning as always.
Not only the depression and tiredness caused by shopping but also the loss of money made us decide to went out and visit the city. I was very impressed of buildings, they were old and care for by the people, also most of them were painted with Philadelphia history.

The scene was perfect without too much people, noise and pollution. My sister and I stayed there until 11:00 pm and despite all time we both spend walking we didn´t finished tourist.
Without thinking twice I´ll be back and I recommend you all to visit this beautiful place.
